Content Management: Content Organization
Within SelfCommunity, content is organized into thematic categories known as "Categories." These categories act as containers where related content is aggregated and made easily accessible to users. This thematic organization streamlines content search and discovery, allowing users to subscribe to specific "Categories" and receive real-time updates on topics of interest.

Typologies of Content

SelfCommunity users can create and share three main types of content:

  1. Posts: Short, targeted text messages ideal for quick and direct communication, similar to traditional social networks.
  2. Articles: Structured and detailed content, including a title and extended body text with advanced formatting options. Articles are perfect for addressing topics in depth and providing informative or educational content.
  3. Polls: Short and targeted Community surveys, including a Poll Title, MultiChoice Poll Options, and opening and closing Poll dates.

All types of content support the integration of multimedia elements such as images, videos, and links, enriching the user experience and increasing interactivity on the platform.

Addressing Content
SelfCommunity offers a content targeting feature that enables authors to precisely target their messages. Content can be tailored to specific subject categories and/or defined user segments, thereby optimizing the relevance and effectiveness of communication.

Interaction on Content
Users can engage with content through a layered comment system, facilitating direct responses and second-level discussions. Additionally, users can mention other users in comments to engage them directly and track specific content to receive ongoing updates. The platform also supports the use of "Likes" and various "Reactions," providing valuable data for sentiment analysis and ensuring authors remain engaged and informed about the impact of their contributions.

Fruition of Content
SelfCommunity presents content through a continuous stream known as a Feed. The Primary Feed is personalized for each user, displaying posts and articles related to the "Categories" they have chosen to follow, along with activities of the users they follow. Additionally, there is a Secondary Feed offering an overall view of all content posted on the platform. Furthermore, for each specific category, related content is grouped in a Feed dedicated to that theme. For targeted searching, users can utilize the internal search engine to find specific content within SelfCommunity.

The Relationship between Users
In the SelfCommunity platform, each user possesses a personal profile where they can input details about themselves and view the content they have shared, organized in a Personal Feed. The profile also includes a section dedicated to social relationships, displaying following/followed users. Users can establish connections through "Friendship" or by following other users ("Follow"). All activities related to social relationships are managed by the notification system, which keeps users informed of updates. Communication between users is facilitated by an internal messaging system, allowing users to send private messages individually or to groups, with the option of attaching files.

SelfCommunity operates with a clear and defined data model: all user information and platform data are the exclusive property of customers. As a provider of a SaaS service, the company is committed to maintaining the platform while acknowledging that any data entered and generated by customers remains under their total control and ownership.
