CONSOLE: Moderation Panel - How to Moderate Content and Users

The moderation system within the Community operates through two main components:
  1. Participated Moderation: Users can report content they deem inappropriate.
  2. AI Moderation System: An Artificial Intelligence Bot automatically flags inappropriate content.
When either a user or the AI flags content, a notification is sent to the Moderation Panel. Here's how you can manage flagged content.

Flags Management.
Use the Search Bar to conduct searches based on specific parameters such as Content Type, Content ID, or Author.
Status:
  • Open: Indicates pending flags that have not yet been addressed.
  • Hidden: Shows content that has been hidden.
  • Deleted: Indicates content that has been deleted.
  • Ignored: Displays flags that have been disregarded.
  • Flagged By: Enter the username of the flag author to view all content flagged by them.

Moderation Actions.
On the Author of the Content:Users Moderation - Opens the user moderation panel where you can:
  • Change status to Approved, Blocked, or Deleted.
  • Send a standard private message to the author, requesting them to suspend the flagged activity.
Similar actions can be performed on the author of the flag, including sending a private message in case of recurring mistaken flags or abuse.
On the Flagged Content (Posts, Articles, Comments):
  • Ignore Reporting: Disregard the report.
  • Notice with Motivation: Send a notice to the content author, requesting suspension of the flagged activity
  • Hide with Motivation: Hide the flagged content.
  • Delete with Motivation: Delete the flagged content and send a notice to the author requesting suspension of the activity.
By efficiently managing flagged content and taking appropriate moderation actions, you can maintain the Community's standards and ensure a positive user experience.
